Does Geminders actually place phone calls?
No. Geminders does not make real cellular phone calls. It uses your iPhone's local scheduled notifications, styled to look and feel like an incoming call screen, to read your notes and appointments aloud at the time you choose. No calls are placed over the phone network, and no cellular minutes are used.
Do I need an internet or cellular connection for reminders to work?
No. Reminder scheduling and playback are handled entirely by local notifications on your device. An internet connection is only used for the optional live traffic leave-time feature, which queries Apple Maps for driving estimates.
Can I customize when and how often I'm reminded?
Yes. You can create, edit, and dictate notes and appointments, and choose exactly when Geminders should "call" you with a reminder.

This Privacy Policy describes how Geminders ("the app") handles your information. We built Geminders to work entirely on your device, with your privacy as a core design principle.
Local Data Storage
All notes, schedules, appointments, and reminders you create in Geminders are stored locally on your device. Geminders does not upload your notes, schedules, or personal content to any external server, and we do not have access to this data.
Location Data
Geminders uses your device's location strictly to calculate real-time driving leave-time estimates through Apple Maps. This location data is used locally on your device for this purpose only. Geminders does not track your location in the background beyond what is needed for this feature, and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your location data with any third party.
No External Tracking or Selling of Data
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers to monitor your activity within the app, and we do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
